Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè (/ˈsanë/ /feˈɘkɪ/ [fair; just] [lightning]) is a subtropical Small Town located in the Gêngípíêpíêè Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè was founded by Bovria Dyêmèqtco, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 21°C (69°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 24°C (75°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 19°C (66°F). Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè receives an average of 216 cm/y (85 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Overview

Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 12th century in summer of the year 1079, by Bovria Dyêmèqtco. The establishment of Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Bovria Dyêmèqtco electing to pay people to resettle in Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè.

Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a series of crampt cobblestone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. Astonishigly, the peasent-grade are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Likely due to this, Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to have homes. One cannot help but wonder what Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè was like during the glorydays.

Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè is home to a University which provides higher education in a variety of fields, and also serves as a research institute for those same fields.

Cultural Notes

There’s more than one leader in Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè, but at least some of them are at each other’s throats. It might be a conflict between formal leadership and informal authorities, or it could be a struggle among civil officials. Their interests might diverge sharply, or it could be a personal grudge that’s boiled over. Outside threats and internal problems are likely being ignored until the power struggle is resolved.

Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos. Its buildings appear out-of-the-ordinary, draw the eye in immediately and sometimes create a feeling of strangeness. These distorted shapes and structure are not reserved to the building’s outer facade, they destabilize interior elements too, favoring minimalism and play on people’s perceptions by injecting a futuristic touch.

The Achaierai near Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Sanë-feêkî Dêtîkè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves sacrificing an animal to channel Wild Magic energies of tier 1 via recitation of scripture.
